OWNERS ALL OVER COUNTRY SEEK TEXASBRED RACERS RACERSOur Our Debenture and Hustle Up Go to W W Adams in Recent Sale SaleDALLAS DALLAS Texas June 9 Success of Texasbred thoroughbreds on major tracks in Decent years has caused many eastern owners to scout the Lone Star State for suitable young stock and breeders with sound youngsters are finding a good market among eastern patrons One of the deals recently culminated was when Bud Burmester sold his two twoyearold colts Our Debenture and Hustle Up to W W Adams Boston Mass sportsman The colts were sent to their new owners stock farm at Framing ham Mass where they were turned out for the rest of the summer to be brought to the races this coming fall fallAdams Adams who races a large string was rep ¬ resented by E E Russell former San An ¬ tonio sportsman who is head trainer for the Boston turfman Russell sent J B Miller also a former Texan and now foreman for the Adams stable to Texas to inspect Bur mesters colts before closing the deal Miller who is well known throughout the State de ¬ clared that all Texasbred horses now racing at major cities draw more than a fair share of attention and said that many eastern owners prefer thoroughbreds which have been raised in the Lone Star State StatePUT PUT ON ONETWO ACT ACTOnly Only recently we had Liberty Franc and Liberty Flight onetwo in Suffolk Downs opening handicap and it is a rare day indeed that doesnt see one or two Texasbred and owned horses gracing the winners circle Miller was satisfied with the two colts and returned to Boston in the same car carOur Our Debenture is by Debenture he by Ap ¬ ple Sammy a son of Pommern out of Prefer ¬ ence by Pericles and the colts dam is Anna Fair by Fair Wind a son of Fair Play out of Anna Dear by Tea Caddy Hustle Up is by Overlord out of Miss Hustle she by Hus ¬ tle On out of Suisun by Boniface Both colts were bred by Tom Nance Midland thoroughbred breeder and acquired by Bur mester in their yearling year
