ODOM HAS LAPSE OF MEMORY MEMORYNEW NEW YORK N Y June 21 George Odom had a 50 lapse of memory at Aqueduct on Friday That was the amount of the fine Imposed upon him by the stewards for failing to declare to win with Springwood in the sprint in which he saddled the W H LaBoyteaux pair of Springwood and Imperatrice to finish first and second secondI I was wrong and had a fine coming according to the rules Odom chuckled I told Meade that I wanted Springwood to win if it developed that either of the entry could win the morning of the race But when I got over to the track in the afternoon I completely forgot it
