PERUVIAN CHAMPION MEISSEN STABLED AT HOLLYWOOD PARK PARKINGLEWOOD INGLEWOOD Calif June 25 A T Jer gins Meissen the huge thoroughbred which recently arrived from Peru was brought to Hollywood Park Monday morning from Rancho San Luis Rey where he went to lose his sea legs Meissen was placed in a spe ¬ cially constructed double stall in the Ross E Cooper stable stableMeissen Meissen was under light training at the ranch and will resume heavy work here im ¬ mediately His preparation here will be supervised by Cooper and the horses South American conditioner Jesus Gonzales The horse is eligible for the Hollywood Gold Cup on July 19 but probably will be seen under colors before that time No definite date however has been set for his North American debut He came here hailed the Peruvian handicap champion
