Californians Are Discussing WeekEnd Pleasantbn Racing RacingLOS LOS ANGELES Calif May 22 Sports ¬ men of northern California are looking for ¬ ward to some days of the turf sport at Pleasanton during the summer months Those interested in the track would like to stage several weekends of racing and should they succeed in obtaining permis ¬ sion may conduct the sport on Fridays and Saturdays They would have ample racing stock for a twodayaweek session in that over 100 horses who campaigned at the Bay Meadows spring meetings including the horses of H C Hill and E Drillon are on the grounds groundsTalk Talk of some weekend racing in Los Angeles and San Diego Counties during the summer has also been rife A plot of ground about 20 miles south of Los An ¬ geles and removed from defense plants and arterial highways is available to the California breeders for the conduct of a meeting and a number are reported to be interested A track on which some trotting races have been held and on which some polo games have been conducted is re ¬ ported to be available within 10 minutes of downtown San Diego
