The latter sayed mound while unable to stay with the leaders eaiK. swung out entering; the stretch and yvould have won in another stride. POTSEY opened ■ long lead in the early stages, but faltered in the closing test. TINY TACKLE was hard ridden throughout while lacing in the first flight. O. K. CHARLIE laced well. F.DEMGEE, unable to stay with the early pacemaker, responded to punishment in the streirh nan and showed a good race. MOUSE HOLE raced in contention from the start, only to falter in the stretch. RATION SCOTCH failed to menace. BLACK SWAN showed nothing. HERALD caught tired horses. SWEETFST GIRL broke well, showed speed for three furlongs, then tired.
