Won easily: second and third driving. STEPHEN JAY, well handled, worked his way up steadily on the outside and, taking command entering the stretch, retained his advantage without need of urging. STILL GALLANT, outrun early, came to the inside for the diive and finished stoutly under punishment. KINGS GLORY, a keen factor throughout, reached the lead after three furlones. but failed to stay when set down for the drive. FLY GENT, much used engaging KINGS GLORY to the stretch, tired during the final quarter. BE PREPARED had no mishaps. OAK QUEEN was never dangerous. VALDINA VIVID bore in in the stretch and tired. QUIZ BABY saved ground and closed strongly to finish in a dead Ltat with HASTY BROOK. The latter went to the inside for the drive and lasted to finish on equal terms with QUIZ BABY.
