NEW BOOM worked his way up Steadily under eood handling, responded to punishment when set down for the drive and disposed of EVER ON in the last stride. EVER ON went into command at once, made the pace to the final furlong and eaatinucd gamely, but could not withstand the winner. COMMUNICATE, sharp factor early, faltered near the finish. SINGULAR raced evenly without mMiap. DUCHESS MYRNA never was dangerous. COUNT BILL could not keep up. J. F. CURRY was outrun throughout. PILATES OWN had no mishaps. FED FIGURE raced evenly. HELEN OF PARIS, fractious faring the post parade, began well and, responding when ridden out through the stretch, won drawing clear. FLIGHT GAL finished resolutely under |llinilhmilll PASAPET raced evenly to the stretch, came between hones during the drive but lacked racing room and could not get to the leaders. RED AND BLACK was in close quarters during the drive. WITH WINGS had a roueh trip. TIME BOOK was outrun. SWEET FAIT gave wav alter racing prominently until inside the stretch. SECOND HAND was much used engaging SWEET FAIT during the first half mile and had nothing left for the drive. ROSE RITA, tractions at the post, never was a serious factor. NATS REWARD assumed command at once, made the pace to the stretch under good rating and. holding on determinedly under ureine, could not withstand the winner. KATES SILVER saved eround when outrun to the final three tuilones, came between horses for the drive and finished resolutely. CHICONA raced evenly without mishap. STING LIGHTLY never was dangerous. HAMMER-LOCK came to the inside for the drive and. bothered repeatedlv throueh the final furlong by WINSOME LAD, was up to deadheat with tha latter. A claim of foul against WINSOME LAD by HAMMER-LOCKS rider was not allowed . by tht stewards. WINSOME LAD, forwardly placed throuehout. bore in badly during the drive and, impeding HAMMER LOCK, lasted to finish on equal terms with the latter. BLLL PLAY assumed mainland early, was in close quarters entering the stretch and tired during the final furlong. EVENING FLIGHT lacked early speed. OUR ALL was outrun. YF!S OR NO. reserved while racing within striking distance of the pacemaker to the stretch, responded to punishment during the drive and. after taking command, appeared ready to draw clear. BOOT AND SPUR held on determinedly when set down for the drive, but was not good enough for the winner. DOCTOR JEEP, outrun early, finished fast on the extreme outside. NAVY raced evenly under good handling and had no excuses. F. B. EYE never was dangerous. WINDWARD ISLE assumed command at once, made the pact under pressure from BOOT AND SPUR, but quit in the stretch. ABOYNE dwelt at the start. I.INWOOD JIM was outrun throughout. QlEENS REWARD, forwardly placed from the start, went to the front in the stretch and then withstood a brisk drive to retain her advantage. PEGGY SILVER, a sharp factor throughout, reached the lead near the stretch and held on willingly, but was not eood enough for the winner. JUSTINIAN II., badly outrun to the final quarter, finished fast. QUESTION MAN could not better his position when set down for the drive. ESTA appeared sore going to the post and never was a serious factor. TIRESOME could not threaten under good handling. STRAWBERRY showed little. MISSMENOW was rushed into a long lead, but quit badly after reaching the stretch. Scratched— 755462 Pumpgun, 116. Attendance, 17,101; Total Mutuel Pool, ,023,526.
