MATTS GIRL, away alertly and having good speed, drew out gradually while under mild urging in the first three-eighths, was given a breathing spell inside the final quarter and. returned to energetic riding, held sway to the end. JUST FLIP raced prominently from the start and held on fairly well. TWIRL GIRL saved ground and finished resolutely. PATRICIA B. was on the inside in the stretch. TAV took command quickly, was rated to the stretch and, shaking off PRETTY MARY, drew away. The latter, on the inside after the first eighth, had speed but tired in the late stages. TIGER TILLIE, taken back earlv and raced wide in the final half, closed well through the last five sixteenths. ERMELIA was held safe. HASTY PARLEY tired in the last quarter. LARKSNEST was outrun. TEDDYS TEA straightened tip quickly after veering out soon alter the start, took the lead gradually, but tired in the last rghth and won under pressure. SUCCESS STORY, slow to begin, started up on the stretch turn and continued well while racine; near the middle of the track thereafter. HO HO moved op while in hand on the final turn, made a bid in the drive and swerved to the inside when tiring. TRUE SHOOTER, impeded at the start, showed a good elfort. GAY AND LIGHT faltered suddenly after reaching the stretch. FLIGHT SURGEON tired badly. RINGIE also showed early speed. Claimed — Ho-Ho by W. Wilkerson.
