Question Belmont Motorists NEW YORK, N. Y., June 13.— It was reported by motorists visiting Belmont Park j today that patrolmen, acting on orders of I Mayor F. H. La Guardia, stopped other automobiles at the Queens County line and I questioned occupants as to their destina-l tion. Those who could not give evidence of residence in Nassau county, or offer a reason other than visiting the track, were said to have bee nturned back. No reliable information as to the number of cars halted, if any, was available today. The Belmont Park property lies partly in Queens County and partly in Nassau County. Some motorists forestalled the reported embargo by New York City police by driving to Elmont, Franklin Square and other Nassau County towns within a short distance of the track to park their cars.
