VERO LUMEN had speed, took command when ready, was energetically handled and held on well, but could not last. SANTONIAN lacked speed, was roused entering the stretch and closed well. ISAIAH GIRL was well placed from the beginning, was under pressure after a half, wore down NOISILY approaching the last sixteenth and then stalled off MISS STAGE. The latter lacked speed, rallied in the stretch and closed well between horses. FORT WINE was outrun for a half, came out in the stretch and closed well.
