► . La Salle Renewal Brings Out Seven Bolos Choice Endeavors To Give Friedberg Stable Third Lincoln Stake Win STICKNEY. 111.. June 15.— Bolos Choice has the chance to give the Hyman Friedberg stable its third stakes success of the meeting when he takes part in the ,000 added La Salle Handicap at a mile and three-sixteenths at Hawthorne tomorrow. He opposes a small but well-matched field in the feature of a splendid week-end card which is expected to attract 20.000 or more patrons. Bolos Choice will be out to emulate the recent feats of Port List, who captured the Joliet Stakes, and Harriet Sue, who last Saturday accounted for the Steger Handicap. Harriet Sue will return to competition tomorrow in the Woodlawn Handicap. In each of his last two starts here Bolos Choice was third and he would not have to show a great deal of improvement to be returned the winner tomorrow. He was third to Quizzle and Espino Gold, who dead-heated for first honors in the Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap, and was third to Latent and Rush Act in the Grace-land Purse. Friedberg Racers Rivals Those the Friedberg representative will encounter tomorrow are Latent, who races for James Sands: the Happy Hour Farms Devalue, the Swanee River Stables Cory-don, Mrs. Clyde Troutts Take Wing. H. E. Jacobys Good Bid and Mrs. J. Hoaglins Amalka. Devalue is topweighted under 114 .pounds, while Corydon is next with 113. Bolos Choice and Take Wing were assigned 112 each: Good Bid, 110; Latent, 108. and Amalka. 105. If he runs back to his last race Latent may prove a powerful contender for honors tomorrow. In the Graceland Purse he took the lead swinging around the first turn Continued on Page Six Seven-Horse Field Entered For La Salle Handicap Today Continued from Pace One and was not headed over the mile and 70 yards in which he beat Corydon, Rosy Brand and Twixt. in addition to Bolos Choice and Rush Act. His winning margin was three lengths. He will have to travel a little farther tomorrow, but the manner in which he disported himself the other day suggests he will be at no disadvantage over the increased distance. On their best races, however, any one of the La Salle candidates could win without causing any great stir. As much interest tomorrow will attach to the Woodlawn Handicap at six and one-half furlongs for, in addition to Harriet Sue, it will bring into competition A. S. Higgins Quizzle, Leon Tikulskis Icangetit, S. D. Sidells St. Jock. Mrs. Karl Mayers Whose. Miss E. Harris Some Man, and H. L. Kings Bolo Tie. I
