Hoop Jr. Out for Season ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., June 18.— Hoop Jr. will not race again In 1945, if ever, trainer Ivan Parke of Fred Hoopers Kentucky Derby victor announced this morning at Belmont Park. The noted son of Sir Galla-had III. — One Hour, bowed in his left foreleg during the running of last Saturdays Pimlico Preakness in which he was second to Mrs. P. A. B. Wideners Polynesian. Hoop Jr. was returned to Belmont Park headquarters on the week-end, and Parke said that he will treat the injured leg here, probably shipping the colt to Hoopers Circle H Farm, Montgomery, Ala., at a later date.
