CLOlDY WEATHER, forwar.lly placed from the start, contributed to QUICK BUBBLES defeat and could not cope with the winner. BRIGHT COUNT, away well, went with the pace to the eighth po«:t and then faltered. NEVER ALONE had no mishaps. YANKEE NOTIONS went up from along the rail during the first half and then flattened out. QLKK BUBBLE set the pace as far as he could under pressure. Overweight— Quick Bubble, 2 pounds. Claimed— Yankee Notions by A. J. Halliwell; Ed M. by Mrs. L. SCENIC CHARM was sprinted to the front, gave way when MISS FLYER rushed up. came again 5n the stretch and just failed to last. MISS FLYER, away in a slight tangle, moved resolutely from the outs:de to overhaul SCENIC CHARM and held on willingly" after balnj displaced. W1TCHWORK was slow 1o get started. DAI YIT saved ground while showing the way under pressure, faltered entering the stretch, recovered, but was not good enough. TlRKEY FOOT went up from the outride, swung in for the drive, had to be eased and taken to the outside when the winner came over and could not recover sufficiently fast to again menace. HAPPY JOAN, also eased in the stretch, finished well. WEEPING faltered after fiveeighth . INCOME TAX showed nothing. Scratched— 73241 J She Didnt, 113. Overweight — Dai Yit. 4 pounds; Income Tax. 5.
