AD. a forward factor from the start ami in hand to the stretch, made his bid on the outside and, taking command, had enough kit to stall oft VERO LUMEN. The latter improved her position gradually, also came out in the stretch and. closing resolutely, was wearing down the winner. HIGHTHORNE took command quickly, bore out slightly on the stretch turn, tired in the drive and rave way to the leadeis. SILVER ACE did not ralh when called upon and also tired near the end. UNCLE BCD could not get through on the turn and did not rally when clear MAN O lf"E dropped back suddenlv on the stretch turn. WHOSYOURGAL took command quickly, held sway under restraint on the turn, hut was briskly urged in the final three sixteenths and had httie left. BAGNELL. well up from the start, bore out entering the stretch and continued on a course le.vond the middle of the track thereafter. FLOAT AWAY, under a snug hold early, cut to the inside in the ]„st eishth and finished fast. ILEFETCHIT faltered near the end. WARRIOR LAD showed little from a slow beginning. DIXIES FIRST, under a strong hold for a half, took command quickly, but was kept under pressure to the end. COCNTRY BITTER had speed from the start, saved ground and swerved under punishment in the drive, but withstood LA MARIES fcid. The latter, under occasional light pressure early, boie out entering the stretch and did not rally when straightened up, but might have been second in another stride. BONNIE PLAID, forced to loe much ground and a strong factor from the start, tired in the drive. HERE NOW showed a good effort. GRAND RUSH gave way gradually in the last quarter. JlST TOURIST beean very slowly and did not threaten, vet finished well. MARYMICK was never a Serious threat. TEDDY KERRY quit badly and was dear when he fell in the stretch.
