Hayward Longchamps Trainer ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., June 18.— Edward Hayward, who trained the Barrington Stable horses for the late Thomas M. Howell, has been appointed as trainer of the extensive Longchamps Farm Stable, owned by Henry Lustig, succeeding David Eng-lander. Hayward took over the horses after the races Saturday night.
