Train on Widener Course CourseBELMONT BELMONT PARK Elmont L I N Y May 11 The Widener chute at Belmpnt was opened for training yesterday morning and Mrs John Hertz Owners Choice stepped three furlongs in 34 handily in preparation for the 25000 Toboggan Handicap which heads the opening pro ¬ gram next Monday Preston Burch also had lour Brookmeade Stable juveniles on the straightaway Blue Hill and Gnu went halves in 49 while Rocky Heights a recent beaten favorite was timed in 49 and Gingham a Florida winner went a fifth slower The steeplechase course was also opened this morning
