Apprentice Gerald Porch Purchases Own Contract ContractSPORTSMANS SPORTSMANS PARK Cicero 111 May 11 Apprentice Gerald Porch has pur ¬ chased his own contract from his former employer V DeCavitch The young Akron Ohio riders contract was purchased by DeCavitch shortly after beginning his ca reer at Ascot Park near his home and rode successfully here last fall then went on to become the leading rider at the Fair Grounds in New Orleans OrleansPorch Porch was displaying fine saddle form here when he was suspended the balance of the meeting a couple of days ago but expects to remain in this area and will undoubtedly be one of the more popular apprentices in action
