Clarence E Owen Dies DiesSAN SAN YSIDRO Calif June 9 Clarence E Owen 47 known to racegoers in this area as Hump and for many years a jockey and exercise boy at Agua Caliente and Tijuana died at his home here last night A native of Oklahoma Owen was a licensed rider in California from 1934 to 1939 and exercised his profession mainly on the fairs circuit Last year he was licensed as a valet during the Del Mar meeting No funeral arrangements have as yet been announced
