California Turf Foundation To Reexamine Portland Data DataHOLLYWOOD HOLLYWOOD PARK Inglewood Calif June 9 Alfred B Fiske secretary of the California Turf Foundation today con ¬ tacted trustees of that organization and requested them to meet immediately to make a reexamination of the reported dis ¬ tress among horsemen in the Portland flood area It had been recommended by Loyd Wright chairman of the California Horse Racing Board that the foundation make available all aid within its power in the present emergency in the Northwest NorthwestBesides Besides Fiske who also is secretary of the Horse Racing Board trustees of the turf foundation are John H Hattler presi ¬ dent William P Kyne of Bay Meadows Willard F Tunney of Del Mar Gwynn Wilson of Santa Anita and Jack F Mack ¬ enzie of Hollywood Park ParkThe The Thoroughbred Racing Associations through its representative Ed Coffey is disbursing funds to the needy and accord ¬ ing to reports is doing a thorough job but Wright has suggested that the California Turf Foundation might also be of some assistance
