Milky Way Preferred List ListCHARLES CHARLES TOWN W Va June 18 The staff of racing secretary Fred Burton is probably one of the busiestsin the country due to the very large response from horse ¬ men in entering horses for competition at this Shenandoah Valley course During the first 27 days of this session a total of 10573 entries were made The preferred list whereon a horses name is placed when un ¬ able to be entered is the largest at any time during the 15year history of the track It is now necessary to have 11 stars to get in or the equivalent of a milky way
