Amendment to Revision of Louisiana Racing Revenues Reported Favorably by Committee CommitteeBATON BATON ROUGE La June 18 A committee amendment to the proposed revision of the division of racing revenues between the State of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans was re ¬ ported favorably today and is ready to be brought to the floor for a vote The amendment offered by an administration leader representative Morris Wimberley provides for the dis ¬ continuance of the 250000 annual donation to the College of Agriculture of Louisiana State University for experimentation in artificial insemination of cattle and would divide that amount with 130000 earmarked for the 4H Club of Louisiana and 110000 for the Delgado Trades School in New Orleans The residue of 10000 would be divided equally between the state and the city cityThe The final distribution if the bill is passed by the legislature would provide for the first monies received to go toward the expenses of the Louisiana State Racing Commission then 240000 would be divided as stated above with the remainder going to the state general fund and the City of New Orleans on an equal basis basisThere There is some doubt as to whether the new proposal will meet with the approval of a majority of the colons representing the country parishes of the state
