Sabath States Alsabs Day Fully Recovered From Injury SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., April 30. — Albert Sabath, master of Alsab Farm near Lexington, Ky., who has a formidable stable quartered at Churchill Downs, was a visitor here this week and he reports that his good filly, Alsabs Day, who was the leading money-winning two-year-old filly of last year, has completely recovered from an injury sustained during the Florida season. He states that she will be a starter during the opening week of the Derby meeting. Alsabs Day is an eligible for the Kentucky Derby, but will not be ready to handle the exacting mile and one -quarter distance, says Sabath. "We had hoped to start her," the Chicago attorney stated, "but we simply ran out of time. However, she looks great and may have something to say about who wins some of the three-year-old filly stakes in the future."
