Kahlbaum, bred by Coldstream Stud, Inc. WENT TO POST— 5:33. OFF AT 5:34 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. DENTIFRICE, well ridden and unhurried after settling in stride, was swiftly sent between horses to the front on the final turn, then lasted under steady urging to hold SINGING SWORD safe. The latter, away slowly and trailing, saved ground improving position after a half mile, had to be steadied on the stretch turn, closed fast when clear, but hung at the end. SANTA S VIXEN was forwardly placed on the inside, had to take back and caused crowding forcing passage between horses coming into the stretch, then finished evenly. SHIRT BAND saved ground and finished well. DORADA came from far back. ALPHO was forced wide into the stretch and tired. RESOJET and SIR SAG were tiring when pinched back sharply at the head of the stretch and quit badly. Scratched— 267983 Our Equity, 108. Overweight— Dentifrice, 1 pound; Dorada, 1; Mediate, 3.
