Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. MISTY SKY established a clear lead on the backstretch, swung slightly wide in the stretch and just lasted over SIR WHITE. A claim of foul against the winner by the rider of SIR WHITE was not allowed. The latter, well placed from the break, was in a trifle close when driving between the leaders in the late stages and just missed. U. S. KNIGHT went through on the rail to be a sharp contender, but was not good enough. WATCH UNION bore out slightly leaving the turn. MAGIC MOMENT failed to respond. SPINDLE was through early. LEADERSHIP was hard hustled early and established a comfortable leacT before a quarter mile, began to drift out when tiring in the final furlong and won fully extended. NEW HOPE was pinched back nearing the first turn and when taken up swung wide, improved position from the outside and closed willingly. HAIR TONIC saved ground while under restraint for a half mile, swung out entering the stretch and finished best of the others. CUE MAC, stumbling at the start, weakened in the drive. TRESPASS outsprinted her field from the break, drew clear again when roused and won easily. JUNE KAYE was forced to race slightly wide while moving up to threaten, but was no match for the winner. MARAUD went between the leaders to be a sharp factor and faltered. ROSY GREEK ran wide entering the stretch. ELEVEN-BOY JR., unhurried in the opening half mile, improved his position from the outside and drew clear after disposing of the leaders. WILD TIP reared at the start, worked her way up on the rail throughout and closed resolutely. HAPPY DEVIL took command when ready and drifted out slightly in the drive when tiring. NEW WONDER could not be Drought off the rail while lugging in badly and had to drop back when MONTE LIMAR gave way in front cf her on the far turn, found room in the stretch, came out inside the furlong post and finished well. HOTROCK displayed the best speed from the gate and quickly drew clear, was hard put when challenged and won under punishment. MANDINGO was sluggish at the break, went through on the inside to improve position, ran wide entering the stretch and closed with good courage. SEGMENT was weH placed from the outset and had no excuse. QUEENS CHANT finished strongly between horses after a slow beginning. HAM BONE faltered in the drive. LIGHTS UP swerved out entering the first turn, bumping THREE RINGS, who was forced into ROCK SPAN, went up on the outside to -displace MUCHO MAS and drew clear under mild encouragement. The latter was hustled into a clear lead and came to the inside on the first turn, held on gamely until the wire, but was not good enough. PALESTINIAN stumbled at the start, then went through on the rail in the drive to be best of the others. THREE RINGS, bumped entering the first turn, was rated until the final quarter mile, dropped back steadily through the drive and worked out a mile and a quarter in 2:06% under punishment. VALOR II., well placed from the beginning, went through on the rail in the drive and wore down CHANCE WISE. The latter opened up a long lead on the first turn, was placed under restraint rounding the far turn, then drifted out when tiring in the drive. LINKYTHORN moved up between horses to make a game bid and weakened in the late stages. HAY RITA bore out in the final quarter mile when tiring.
