LANDMARK GAL, a keen factor from the beginning, went to the front during the drive add held LILS GADGET safe. The latter, forwardly placed from the beginning, reached the lead between calls entering the stretch, but could not withstand the winner. CONNIE-JO began fast, made the pace for a quarter mile, then faltered: BY DEGREES, on the inside and in the deepest footing throughout, raced evenly without mishap. WHAT GOES ON was outrun and had no excuse. ALIXE C. saved ground during the drive, but could not threaten the leaders. PENNWOVEN was never dangerous. WAVE-A-LU. broke fast, but" dropped-back after the beginning. THISTLE SIR could not keep up. BOLTON raced wide throughout, losing all chance. LONGHORN raced evenly to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and, responding to good handling, assumed command and then drew clear. McYERSDALE, never far back, bore out during the last three-eighths mile, finished well, but could l not seriously threaten the top one. LT. BILL began fast, raced prominently to the last eighth, then weakened. CORN SPICE, on the inside and in the deepest going, reached the lead entering the stretch, but tired during the dj-ive PAPPYS REBEL lacked early speed. WINSTAY gave way after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. CAFE SINGER disliked the sloppy track. BUMTYBUMP was never dangerous. AMBER DOLL would hot extend herself on the sloppy strip. RINGADOR began fast, gave way momentarily to MISS MONTSIN after the start, came again to assume command and, responding to punishment during the stretch run, held SORORITY safe. The latter, going in good form, raced nearest RINGADOR after three-eighths mile, closed willingly, but could rtot overtake the winner, although easily best of the others. MISS MONTSIN went to the front soon after the beginning, gave way to RINGADOR befpre doing a quarter mile and steadily lost ground thereafter. BRIGHT STEEL disliked the sloppy track. GOLDEN FLEET lacked early speed and bore in badly during the stretch run. FLYING RAID had brief speed, but failed td Stay. BUSHEL, in hand to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and, finishing fast under punishment, disposed of the leaders and won going away. NOLA, far back to the last three-eighths, lost ground entering the stretch and closed strongly, but could not Withstand the winner. MAGNETIC STAR was sent to the front at once, made the pace to the last eighth, then faltered. COPPER POT failed to rally When set down in the drive. TECHNICAL, on the inside for the drive, lacked racing room during the final sixteenth mile. MARY GRACE, roughed when caught between BUSHEL and COPPER POT at the half-mile pole, failed to threaten thereafter. HAPPY ALL tired after engaging MAGNETIC STAR to the stretch. TEXAS RAIN, away sluggishly and outrun to the last three-eighths, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and, closing fast under punishment, wore down the leaders in the final sixteenth. COTTON JOE, never far back, reached the lead between calls in the stretch, but could not hold the winner artd probably needed his race. TACONY was hustled to the front before going a quarter, engaged COTTON JOE to the last eighth, then faltered. ILLUSTRATE lacked, early foot, but closed fast when sent between horses during the drive. PLAY AT was outrun. CONVICTED could not threaten the leaders. WISEHEIMER was never prominent. 6YR0NIC raced wide.
