NAVY FLASH, husfled along, to gain a clear advantage along the backstretch, drew out when shaken up in the stretch and won fully extended. FOR JON, well placed between hcrses much of the way, was getting to the winner in the drive. MEL HASH had to be steadied for lack of room entering the stretch, came in to obtain room midway of the drive and finished resolutely.- DAWTY, prominent throughout, had no excuse. ALGIE lacked a closing rally. BIG TIME was outrun. NARVIKO went wide leaving the turn. DARK PIGEON, taken up at the start, raced wide thereafter. GAY SONG had speed and quit. . GABEZ had early speed and weakened. GLORYO had no excuse. BLESSUSGALS was knocked back sharply at the start.
