FRESH BREEZE was under stout restraint while trailing early, movea up readily on the final turn when roused, closed fast and drew out to win easily. LUTZ GIRL was sent to the front and rated there, saved ground, met the Did of the winner willingly, but was net good encugh REIGHS COMET, under restraint early, was in close quarters on the far turn, then closed well when clear. CARMARGO BILL, slow to settle into full stride, was in close quarters on the far turn, then made up ground in the stretch. REBEL RAIDER raced evenly, but could not improve his position. SYNDICATE quit badly after showing early speed. Attendance, 10,360; Total Mutuel Pool, 58,179.
