Irish Derby to Fraise du Bois THE CURRAGH, County, Kildare, Eire, June 27.— Fraise du Bois, the black colt by Bois Roussel and Sugar Hills, carrying the Aga Khans colors, atoned for his Epsom Derby failure by accounting for the Irish Derby by three parts of a length here today. Starting as the 5 to 2 co-favorite, jockey Charlie Smirke drove Fraise du Bois home over the 12 furlongs ahead of the other co-favorite, Signal Box. The 100 to 7 shot, Bolivar, was four lengths behind the choices in the field of 16 starters. Signal Box, ridden by Martin Molony, had finished far in advance of Fraise du Bois when he ran third in the English Derby at Epsom last month. All runners carried 126 pounds today.
