Gushen Elected to New England HBPA Post PostSUFFOLK SUFFOLK DOWNS East Boston Mass May 1 Irving Gus ¬ hen was elected vicepresident of the New England division of the HBPA defeating John McDowell in yesterdays election With one exception the incumbent committee of 10 was returned to office the lone change being Clyde Lockyear elected to the post of L Lakin who did not run this year The other members of the board are Joe Simonelli Pat Fringe Max White Al Donofrio O L Foster Sid Bernstein P T Catalano Tom Haskos and Bill Hinphy
