Start good from stall gate. Won ridden out; second and third driving. RED COMET moved up to be closest to the pace shortly after the start, gained command when ALLAH-VHY shortened stride and drew out under strong hand urging after the rider dropped his whip midway of the stretch. POWER PLANT was sluggish early, went well from the stretch to the end, but was not good enough. ALLAH-VHY stumbled at the start, rapidly established a clear lead and tired. PATROL WAGON was bothered slightly while between horses much of the journey. C0CKAH00P failed to respond. SMART BETTOR tired. Scratched— 58435 Wedding Band, 108. Overweight— Rexissa, 1 pound. ALL IS WELL broke1 alertly and lacked speed to remain with the top pair, came out when ready for, the drive, disposed of the leaders and won fully extended. SWEET PICK saved ground while lacking speed, then closed with a belated rush. SEAFLASH faltered in the drive and after dueling for command with HYPALONG. The latter was used up pressing the pace. FAMILY MAN was outrun. SPRINGTALE failed to threaten. LAMBENT was very sore and did not extend himself during the running and came out of the race in distress. Scratched— 58045 Powwow, 118. OFF AT 2:191 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from tape. Won driving; second and third the same. LOW FLYER worked his way between horses, took command leaving the final turn and won fully extended. FIDDLERS CHOICE was always prominent and lacked a closing rally. ROLL CALL II. was with the first flight from the start, took command briefly and weakened in the final run. TOURELAY was slow to begin. GOLDEN BOY II. caught tired horses .after a slow start. PRETENDER was outrun. LADY FAIRFIELD tired. THIEF had speed and quit. DAD0N quit after racing forwardly placed early. BILL HAWK quit suddenly after the fourth hurdle. AV0NW00D was pulled up on the first turn when a stirrup webbing broke. Because of heavy dust and a rainstorm, the colors were not distinguishable for the call at the second fence. Scratched— 593844 Fathom,-130. GOLDEN GLOVES was rated when outrun for command early on the backstretch, then took command under hard punishment, tired nearing the end and lasted over OUT POINT. The latter, reserved in the opening half mile, moved up to be a sharp contender in the stretch and was wearing down the winner. GUARD OF HONOR set the pace until nearing the furlong post and. weakened. THE DIVER madeja mild bid on the inside leaving the turn and gave way suddenly. AIR SERVICE was never a serious threat. The latter, in closest pursuit of the pace, gained command when LOTOPEP gave way and held on well, but was not good enough. BRIGHT PASS was slow to gain best stride.
