Hollywood Stewards Close La Bull Workout Incident HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 9. — Hollywood Parks board of stewards Saturday officially ended the "La Bull incident" with the following statement: "In the matter of the erroneous identification of the horse La Bull in a workout on Saturday, May 31, 1952, the board of stewards has made a thorough and exhaustive, investigation into all phases of the incident, and has determined that there is not sufficient evidence upon which to make a ruling." La Bull, a juvenile trained by Ross Brin-son, won here last Wednesday at odds of slightly better than 6 to 1 after opening at 15 to 1. However, many observers believe the morning line handicapper was out of line on the colt who had raced only once previously and had been beaten but a neck in track record time at Phoenix Sportsmans Park. After La Bull won his race with ease it was discovered that he had been the colt which had worked a half-mile in :46% instead of Two Bit Hug to whom the drill had been credited. j
