CLOSING TODAY June 16 — The ALCIBIADES STAKES OCTOBER 18, 1952 FOR FILLIES, TWO-YEAR OLDS. By subscription of 0 tech to occompony the nomination, 50 to pass the entry box, and 50 additional to start with 5,000 added, of which 65% to the winner, 20% to the second horse, 10% to the third horse, and 5% to the fourth horse. Weight 119 pounds. Winners of 0,000 to carry 3 pounds extra. Non-winners of a sweepstakes or three races other than claiming allowed 4 pounds. Maidens, 8 pounds. In the event the number of starters requires the race to be run in more than one division, it will be divided in the manner prescribed by the Racing Secretary and the Management, and not less than 0,000 will be added to each division. Starters to be named through the entry box the day before the race ot the usual time of closing. A gold trophy will be presented to the owner t of the winner. SEVEN FURLONGS. The original nominator of the wuner to receive ,000; of the second horse, 00; and the third horse, 50. The Stakes robe divided 65% to the winner, 20% to the second horse, 10Tc to the third horse, and 5% to the fourth horse. Colts and geldings to carry 122 pounds; fillies, 119 pounds. Non-winners of 5,000 allowed 3 pounds; ,000 or ,000 twice, allowed 5 pounds; maidens allowed 8 pounds. Starters to be named through the entry box the day before the race at the usual time of closing. In the event the number of starters requires the race to be run in more than one division, it will be divided in the monner prescribed by the Racing Secretary and the Management, with not less than 7,500 added to eoch division. Keeneland Race Course has donated the Carlotta Pitcher, which is to be held by the owners of the winner for one year. A suitable trophy will be presented to the owner of the winner.
