Closing of Detroit Stakes StakesDETROIT DETROIT RACE COURSE Livonia Mich June 12 Racing secretaryhandi capper Charles McLennan of the Michigan Racing Association calls attention of turf ¬ men to the closing of entries for two im ¬ portant local stakes The 15000 Frontier Handicap at one mile and onesixteenth for threelyearolds and upward is to close for nominations on Saturday June 20 and the 50000 Michigan Mile for horses from similar age divisions closes on Monday June 15 The Frontier will be renewad this year on Saturday July 4 while the rich Michigan Mile is set for decision on Satur ¬ day July 25
