Fog Handicaps Training Operations at Belmont BelmontNative Native Dancer Timed Brisk Final Quarter of TriaJ in 232s in Slop SlopBELMONT BELMONT PARK Elmont L I N Y May 3 A heavy fog mantled Belmont Park this morning making it impossible to time any of the comparatively few horses who breezed over the two tracks Alfred G Vanderbilts Native Dancer and Crash Dive emerged from the fog at the quarter pole after having broken off to ¬ gether somewhere in the backstretch and were timed a brisk final quarter in 23 The gray chamion appeared to be going very easily through the slop slopOne One of the very few others who could be timed at all on the main track was Mrs Ogden Phipps Neji who comes from a dull race in a steeplechase last week and is in Tuesdays hurdle event He went three furlongs in 38 38It It was also foggy on Sunday morning but a few fast trials were noted E P Taylors Canadiana stepped six furlongs in 113 in handy style after a half in 48 while the twoyearold Sweet Georgia vho is in Tuesdays fifth race went three fur ¬ longs in 34 getting the first quarter in 22 22W W B MacDonald Jrs Count Trim who wouldnt stand training all last year went a handy six furlongs in 115 Sunday morning tiring a bit at the end after rip ¬ ping off fractions of 34 48 and 101 The Count Fleet colt may be seen in an overnight event this week weekMarlboro Marlboro Stud Farms Jet Master went an easy half in 51 on the main track Sunday breezing the first three furlongs in 37
