Reason Enough for Antics AnticsWEATHERFORD WEATHERFORD Tex May 4 Wayne Locklear Reynolds Bros stud manager had a problem at the farm on the Brazos River He received a gray mare for service and no matter where he placed her she always was found some place else Watch ¬ ing her with extra care Wayne discovered that the mare was jumping the fences When he investigated further he discovered that she was the famous jumper Silver Duchness nee Dublin belonging to Alan B Connell Jr a friend of the Reynolds family The mare had a record mark of 6 feet 6 inches with her owner in the saddle and a mark of over 8 feet on the lunge I kept her in a stall until she was bred and settled said Locklear That solved the problem
