HIS BOY, in contending position from the start, assumed the lead midway of the backstretch and rapidly gained a commanding lead. YOCK BILL saved ground along the inside and was never able to seriously threaten. MAD GANDER could not reach contention and failed to rally in the drive. SHORE LINE set the pace and faded when displaced early. BLUE COPPER showed little. FRESH GAL was forwardly placed in the-early stages and tired. RIPPER was outrun.
