Ross Distributes Atlantic Blanks DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 18. — James P. Ross, Jr., newly appointed racing secretary for the Atlantic City Racing Association, is distributing stakes blanks for the 1954 meeting at the New Jersey track. The Atlantic City season will run from August 10 through October 6, and 18 added-money events are scheduled for decision, 10 of them to be contested over the turf course. Richest stake on the 1954 program is the United Nations Handicap, one mile and three-sixteenths over the grass for which the winner will be guaranteed 0,000.
