Call HBPA Meeting in NJ NJGARDEN GARDEN STATE PARK Camden N J May 9 A general meeting of the members of the New Jersey division of the Horse ¬ mens Benevolent and Protective Associa ¬ tion has been called for 10 a m Saturday at the American Legion Hall Post 372 near the stable area opposite barn R on Martin Ave Irving Gushen national president of the horsemens group will report to the members on his negotiations with three New Jersey tracks in the matter of purse contract The current racing is being con ¬ ducted without a contract between the horsemen and the track Apparently the issue is at a stalemate The meeting will be a closed one and all HBPA members must attend
