Official Program Numbers of Placed Horses HorsesOfficial Official program numbers have been added to Daily Racing Form charts These official program numbers immediatelj precede each horses namr in that portion of the chart which contains the mutuel prices and equivalent odds to 1 of the horses involved in the official payoff In most instarces the official program numbers are similar to the post position numbers in some cases they are com ¬ pletely different being affected by late scratches stable couplings and mutuel fields At all times the official program numbers will conform with those assigned each horse in the official track program
