NEW RULE AT FAIR GROUNDS NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 8. The following rule has been passed by the stewards, effective January 9, 1924 : "When a horse is carded to run and is entered for the following day it shall be excluded if the field j runs over the limit, and such excluded horses shall not be placed on the preferred list for such an entry."
