WH.I.IAM PIGGINS began forwardly. but was shuffled back in the first eighth, then came rapidly i when reaching the stretch and. after a shaking up. otitfinished Al, STEBI.ER. The latter raced into the lead quickly and set a good pace, but tired in the last sixteenth. ESCOLANE raced prominently, but ■tumbled on the stretch turn and tired in the last sixteenth. SISTER SUB raced fairly well. NEPTUNE was done after going the first three-eighths. SETTEE closed a big gap in the last quarter. PRODIGAL finished well. The latter moved up steadily after going the first quarter and. saving ground on the last turn, finished well. REVOLT raced well on the extreme outside and closed a -onsiderable gap. MONASTERY raced into the lead, but l egan tiring when reaching the last eighth. PORTER ELLA quit in the stretch. INFANTE dosed a great gap and was slightly in the lead when he went down from exhaustion.
