There Is little chance for anything but a muddy track for Saturdays sport at the Pox River course the going still being in bad condition and only the sturdier type of racers are looked for to be winners of the races offered offeredA A card far below the usual Saturday standard is offered for today there being no feature race on tha program Each and every one of the seven events carries the claiming clause and in most of the contests horses of the cheaper grade are to make up the issue There are five sprinting affairs to be de cided and one of these the fifth probably brings the best field of the day into action There are some fair sprinters entered here and they should put up an interesting con ¬ test The sixth is at a mile while the final number calls for the platers to race over the mile and a quarter distance distanceSILENT SILENT LILLIAN BOYS BELIETE ME KENDALL KENDALLSILENT SILENT LILLIAN raced as if she were just a little short in her last start and with that last effort serving as a tightener look for her to be the one to score in the open ¬ ing dash She raced xairly wel over the Seminola track and would only have to dis ¬ play the same form here to win A repeti ¬ tion of his last race should sse BOYS BE ¬ LIEVE ME close to the leader all the way KENDALLS usual race would be good enough to earn him the show money in this company JOSIE HARTMAN iS possibly best of the others othersBOOKING BOOKING GILMORE BOB SPALDING SPALDINGThe The C N Freeman mare ROCKING has been threatening to win in most all of her races but was never quite equal to the task She is right at home in the going and may be able to score a win in this company GILMORE has landed the place in his two last starts and only has to race in the same manner today to again knock down that portion of the purse BOB SPALDING if in a running mood may do for the short end of the coin MEDDLING SETH figures to land close up and may prove a hard one to beat beatSINGING SINGING CRICKET TAMALE DICK STATLER STATLERThrowing Throwing out the last race run by SING ¬ ING CRICKET she would stand a good chance of annexing the third number In that last start she tired badly nearing the finish after being in the lead That effort should have done her much good and ex ¬ pect her to give a much better account of herself today TAMALE DICK is said to be working well and a race to his best Tijuana form should find him among the first three at the finish STATLER on his best races gets the call for third UP AND DOWN does not call for much but appears to be the best of the others REDSKIN CHARLES WHITNEY HIGH JOY JOYREDSKIN REDSKIN raced far below his true form in his start Friday and think he is good enough to trim this bunch if he puts forth his best efforts He is right at home in the going and against this company should not have much trouble in winning CHARLES WHITNEY seems to have found his best form and if he can negotiate the going may cause REDSKIN some trouble HIGH JOY is possibly as good as another for the third position positionTORMENTOR TORMENTOR GAD BALL GEE GEEPicking Picking the winner in the fifth over the five and a half furlongs distance is no easy matter for there are several which seem to have a good chance of winning TOR ¬ MENTOR is in mighty good form at pres ¬ ent and may be the one to beat He is a fairly good sprinter and the going holds no terror for him GAD only has to repeat her last race to give the others an argu ¬ ment all the way BALL GEE raced in much improved form last time out and if he displays the same brand of speed today will take plenty of beating UPDIKE is somewhat outclassed but is given considera ¬ tion on his last race which he won wonOPEN OPEN FIRE PRINCE Til Til POMPOUS POMPOUSIf If there is such a thing as a best bet in any of the races today it is OPEN FIRE in the sixth event He raced in his best form last time out and won a game race from Clique That same effort repeated here should see him leading the others home with ease PRINCE Til Til is always close up when the finish is reached and should not have much trouble fn getting the place money here POMPOUS would do for the show money if he raced in his best form His last showing was not so good The remain ¬ ing ones do not call for much muchHYPERION HYPERION LEXINGTON MAID TREASURER TREASURERHYPERION HYPERION with two winning races to his credit in his last two starts appears to be much the best in the final and would only have to repeat either one of those races to lead the others home here LEXINGTON MAID is said to be nearing her best form again and if such is the case will give HYPERION an argument TREASURER raced poorly his last out after winning three in a row He may find his best speed again today LITTLE BLAZE has the edge on the others
