QUITS GREENTREE STABLE BOWi.:. Md., April 11.— Clyde Phillips, one of the foremost of the younger generation of trainers, will race a stable of his own on the eastern tracks this summer. Phillips, who won something like 193,094 in purses for the Greentree Stable last year, severed his connections with that establishment yesterday. Phillips and Mis. Payne Whitney pasted on the most friendly terms. leter Peter, Sport and the two-year-old filly Dom-ulalla. by Dominant — Fulalia, are the three that will carry Phillips colors. He has given first call on jockey Arnold to the Greentree Stable for 1928. Young Phillips comes from a family of horsemen, all of whom have met with much success in their profession. At the conclusion of the Bowie meeting Phillips will ship his stable from here to Jamaica.
