Patterson Restored to Good Standing by Suffolk Stewards EAST BOSTON, Mass., June 27. The stewards at Suffolk Downs issued the following ruling today: "The contract of jockey P. Patterson, having been purchased by Paul Andolino, and transfer having been made and approved by the stewards, the suspension of jockey P. Patterson is this day terminated. "The attention of all licensed jockeys is called to rule No. 253 of the Massachusetts State Racing Commission, which reads as follows: A jockey whose horse has been disqualified or who unnecessarily causes his horse to shorten his stride with a view of complaint, or who complains frivolously that his horse was crossed or jostled, may be subject to the imposition of a forfeiture or be suspended. "The horse Bayport, having schooled to the satisfaction of the starter, is hereby declared eligible to start."
