Beedles Condition Critical CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., June 4.— The condition of Jockey Johnny Beedle. injured in a spill involving five horses in the eighth race on Saturday, remains critical. Beedle is confined to Charles Town General Hospital suffering from severe head injuries. Jockeys Sammy Palumbo and George Franklin, also confined to the hospital, are progressing very favorably.
