EL OSlNA, on the inside throughout, slowly drew clear under an enereetic ride, was given a breathing spell on the turn, responded to ursine to increase his advantage in the stretch, but later tired, yet held LADY BRILLIANT safe. LADY BRILLIANT, outrun early, closed fast on her own courage. TALK OVER had speed from the start but tired in the drive. SIR JIMMY held on gamely and would have headed TALK OVER in another stride. BOZIE dropped back leaving the backstretch and, racing wide, did not threaten thereafter. Overweight — Lady Brilliant, 3 pounds. KENTUCKY ROSE, far back early, closed well. HOLT, taken back at the start, lost much eround and closed on his own courage. GOBLIN, away well but taken back as RED TORCH forced him wide on the turn, cut to the inside entering the stretch, but came out while closing boldly, disposed of K. EL BANCO and continued stronely to the end. K. EL BANCO, away fastest and receiving a hustling ride, displayed good speed and held on fairly well, although no match for the winner. JOURNAL, away well, was roused on the turn, came out for the firmer footine in the stretch, but did not rally and was held safe by the leaders. WARF, fractious at the post, raced greenly. The latter, outrun early, lost ground entering the stretch, swerved to the inside while closing strongly and was getting to the winner. ROBINS PET did not keep up, yet outstayed the others. LITTLE MONARCH went forwardly placed from the start and held on fairly well. VICTORY PLAY had speed, hut tired when the real te«t came. LANGS BOY saved much ground. MINSTREL SONG raced wide. BRIGHT REIGH eave way suddenly in the stretch. LESTABERT quit. Attendance, 8,300 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, 16,643. Returned to Public, 64,979, Less Breakage. LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 12.— In the fourth race at Churchill Downs on May 31, K. Knott was the rider on K El Banco and not F. Weidaman, as printed. In the third race on June 11, R. Gonzalez rode China Marie and not J. Wagner.
