Three Riders Tally Initial Winners of Career at Cranwoqd CranwoqdCRANWOOD CRANWOOD PARK WarrensvUle Ohio May 14 Only two programs of this 19day meeting have been presented but already three riders chalked up their maiden victories in the saddle Apprentice G P Ryan scored his intial tally on opening day and yesterday BiUy Armstrong and Jack Lindsay guided a mount for the first time into the winners enclosure enclosureArmstrong Armstrong has been riding on the Fair Circuit in Ohio Illinois and Iowa for 10 years but his tally aboard Ragtime Baby in the fourth race was his first on a recog ¬ nized race course He is 27 years old and is from Herrin HI and his contract is held in partnership by C T Hall and J P Fetzer owners of Ragtime Baby BabyJack Jack Lindsay steered Cat Like home in front in the eighth race for J D Crister The winner is trained by Lindsays father who also holds a contract on the boys rid ¬ ing serviced He was born in Los Angeles Calif and is 16 years old He accepted his first mount at Churchill Downs last fall and rode occasionally at New Orleans Fair Grounds and Sunshine Park during the winter
