Senators Drop Two Rookies WASHINGTON, D. C, May 11 UP.— Clark Griffith, president of the Washington Senators, announced today he had cut rookie pitchers Bill Dozier and Earl Davis from the squad. Davis was released outright to Chattanooga, a Washington farm, and Dozier sent to Augusta, Ga., of the Sally League, on option. Neither appeared in a game this season. The cut reduced the Washington roster to 26, one over the limit.
