UNCLE DREW raced in nearest pursuit of the early leader, took command on the inside entering the stretch and drew clear when fully extended. OUR QUESTIONS came out for the drive and finished with good courage. EVER LUCKY drifted out extremely wide on the final turn, then finished determinedly when straightened. POUTING MAC lacked a rally. WILD HEIRESS was on the outside throughout most of the journey. THUNDER HOOF failed to attain the lead and tired. IRENE was unable to keep up. MARQUISETTE and FIGHTING JOHN were always outrun. JUST FOR LUCK began tardily and lost all chance. TRALA BOY saved ground to no avail. WATCH SONNY showed nothing. NO LEDDIE was unable to improve her position during the late stages. GAY LIBERTY tired under punishment. IMPELLER, away in the first flight, disposed of SLAMMING SLAM before going a quarter mile and held sway to the finish while in hand. THE GINK, sluggish to begin, was forced to take the. overland route when called upon for the drive and finished with good courage. REIGHS DOUBLE failed to respond when set down for the final test SIR BEE BUM lacked a convincing rally. BOLD ARROW was on the outside throughout. SLAMMING SLAM failed to stay. THIRD OVAL was badly outrun. RUTHERFORD caught tiring horses. WARBARTON was knocked back on the far tum and failed to recover. PENAWAY quit. PREWITT was forced to take up when in close quarters, interfered with WARBARTON and both were eliminated from contention. BUSTED gave a dull performance. The latter, outrun to the final quarter, responded readily when set down through the stretch, but could not overtake the winner. TEMPORARY went to the front earl/, made the pace until inside the stretch, then faltered. MISS G0LIGHTLY failed to stay when seL down in the drive. CALLADICO was bumped at the first tum by D0-DO, recovered and raced evenly to the stretch before tiring. LEO RED began fast, but could hot keep up. DO-DO had early speed, but failed to stay. BAY ACRE, forced back when bothered by WHATANURSE at the start, closed well through the stretch, but could not threaten the leaders. LICTOR, caugnt in the jam caused by WHATANURSE at the break, moved up well when clear, was forced out by BAY ACRE during the drive and tired badly nearing the finish.
