WILL RACE 25 DAYS AT CHURCHILL DOWNS. President Winn Forecasts American Turf Association Action Report on Revision of Eules. Louisville, .Ky., January 11. President Matt .1. Winn of the American Turf Association, left here tills morning for New Orleans to attend a meeting of the governing body iu that city Friday night. The matters of Importance which will come up for consideration are the allotment of dates and the report of the committee on rules. "The committee which will report on the revision of rules is composed of Edward Corrigan, Campbell Scott, W. O. Parmer and myself as ex-oflicio member," said Mr. Winn. "It is practically sottled that in the contention over the apprentice allowances the concession will be made in cases of jockeys riding for owners to whom they are under contract. "There will be twenty-five days of racing at Churchill Downs, and the meeting will begin about May 1. 1 do not kuow just when Latonia will open and I am unable to say how long the meeting there will last. In the light of the recent decisions of the lower courts, it is considered certain that tbe Tennessee Supreme Court will declare the anti-betting law In that state unconstitutional. In that event there will be a meeting at Nashville, beginning the second week in April. This will be followed by meeting at Lexington. As to the Hot Springs situation I cannot say." , ; .
